Huntsville Ontario Real Estate

Huntsville Ontario Real Estate is of much interest to many buyers. It is viewed as a recreational location, a retirement location and an investment location.  The proximity to 2 provincial parks, Algonquin and Arrowhead, 7 golf courses, downhill skiing, the world renowned Deerhurst resort as well as oodles of fine dining, neat shopping and a full service hospital are only a few of the reasons for its popularity.

Located about two and a half hours north of Toronto it is often referred to as North Muskoka. Centred around a chain of four larger lakes and most often includes the Lake of Bays area, it is a stunningly beautiful part of Ontario.

Peninsula, Fairy and Vernon Lakes wrap around the town and flow into Mary Lake via the North Muskoka river.  The communities of Dwight, Dorset and Baysville are nestled into the beautiful shores of Lakes of Bays. These four lakes offer miles of shoreline on which some of the most spectacular real estate in the world is situated. The large lakes are not all there is to offer, there are literally hundreds of smaller lakes that riddle this magnificent region many still not accessible by road or completely privately held with many others developed to offer a buyer the quiet lake experience, or the no motorized boat experience.

Offering the discerning buyer the opportunity to live work and play with easy access to Toronto or Ottawa for business the value of real estate in this region has remained fairly stable through the recent economic downturn.  Property types and values fill large spectrum from the small residential bungalows to the multimillion dollar lake front homes.
